Looking for a puppy or a kitten? A mature dog or cat? Purebred or a one-of-a kind mixed breed? The Animal Foundation has the largest and best selection of animals in Southern Nevada. We even have birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, ferrets, snakes and more!

ADOPTION HOURS
Our Campus Adoption Center is open daily from 11am to 7pm.

We have recently partnered with PetSmart Charities to open an Everyday Adoption Center (EAC) inside PetSmart located at 286 W. Lake Mead Parkway in Henderson. Adoption hours at the EAC are Monday-Saturday, 9am-8pm and Sunday, 9am-7pm.

We encourage patrons who already have a dog or puppy to bring that pet with them to our campus or to the EAC if they’re looking to adopt a companion dog. We offer “get-acquainted” areas to introduce the potential future siblings on neutral ground. Our trained adoption counselors are on-site to assist with the introduction.

ADOPTION FEES
Like many shelters across the country, we use variable adoption pricing. Some animals are considered more desirable and easier to adopt. Their higher adoption fees will leave a financial legacy for other animals needing extensive medical care or more time to find a home. All adoption fees include your new pet’s first series of vaccines, a spay or neuter operation, microchip identification (dogs, cats, rabbits), and list of participating veterinary clinics providing a complimentary wellness checkup with your receipt.

Our online database is maintained in real-time, and is constantly being updated with new animals that are ready to go home with you. Animals listed in kennels beginning with PSHD are located at the EAC inside PetSmart in Henderson.
