The Animal Foundation operates Nevada’s largest open-admission shelter – we are contractually obligated to accept every animal brought to our facility. Contracts with Clark County, City of Las Vegas, and City of North Las Vegas animal control departments provide the funding that allows us to provide care for our shelter animals for only the first 72 hours. We rely on the generous efforts of animal lovers like you to provide the continued care after that period for of all of our animals while we seek a loving home for them.
